Day 1 ancient Rome: Colosseum at opening (8:30am), Roman Forum, Palatine Hill — a full morning. Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and lunch in the Centro Storico. Afternoon Capitoline Museums. Day 2 Vatican: book St Peter's Basilica + Vatican Museums + Sistine Chapel for the earliest slot. Lunch in Borgo, afternoon crossing the river to Castel Sant'Angelo. Dinner in Trastevere. Day 3: Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps in the morning, Villa Borghese afternoon (gardens + gallery), farewell dinner in the Jewish Ghetto or Testaccio. Fly out FCO.
