The plan

Fly CPT Cape Town. Days 1-3: Table Mountain (clear day — go in the morning), Boulders Beach penguins, Cape Point drive, V&A Waterfront. Day 4 drive to Stellenbosch 45 min, overnight at a wine estate. Day 5 Winelands: Franschhoek wine tram, long lunch. Day 6 fly Cape Town-Johannesburg 2h, connect to Skukuza/Hoedspruit. Days 6-9 safari: stay at a private reserve adjacent to Kruger (Sabi Sand for density of sightings, Timbavati for affordability). 3 nights, 2 game drives per day — dawn and sunset. Big Five sightings likely. Day 10 fly back to JNB, home. Spring to see the Cape flowers, winter (June-August) for the best big-game viewing.
