FlightQ seat configuration data.

A deliberately small, evidence-gated dataset for reproducible analysis—not a dump of every record FlightQ stores. Each row includes its configuration URL, public source, source-check date, and derived values.

Inclusion gate

Current primary Tier A configurations whose rendered seat counts equal published cabin counts and whose public source was checked within 180 days of the as-of date.

The as-of date and method version are repeated in every CSV row and JSON envelope.

Limitations

Provenance is configuration-level, not field-level; a linked source supports the configuration as a whole.
Documented lavatory counts do not distinguish passenger from crew-only facilities.
Missing values are unknown and are excluded from the corresponding comparison; FlightQ does not estimate them.
Results describe the documented configuration, not the aircraft assigned to a future flight.

Definitions

Extra-legroom share: mapped economy seats with an explicit extra-legroom flag divided by mapped economy seats. A missing flag set is excluded, not treated as zero.
Seats per documented lavatory: total mapped seats divided by the number of lavatory markers in the configuration. It does not distinguish passenger from crew-only facilities.
Pitch and width: the raw economy values stored with the configuration. Ranges retain separate minimum and maximum values.
