Play today's puzzle

What is the daily airport quiz?

A free daily puzzle where you guess the mystery airport from real airline data. The game is called AirlineQ. Each day picks one US airport and one world airport. You have six guesses to identify each one.

How to play

  1. Pick a mode. US for American hubs, World for everywhere else. Each mode has its own daily streak.
  2. Read the first clue. A marquee airline that flies from the airport. Sometimes that pins the answer fast, like Singapore Airlines or Emirates.
  3. Guess any airport. Type a city, country, IATA, or ICAO code. The autocomplete searches every commercial airport in the world.
  4. Use distance and compass feedback. Wrong guesses show how far off you are and which way the right answer lies.
  5. Solve in 6. Each clue narrows the pool. Most players land it in 3 or 4.

Frequently asked questions

Is the daily airport quiz free?

Yes. Free to play, no account required. Premium is optional and only removes ads.

How does the airport quiz work?

Each day a real airport is the answer. The first clue is a marquee airline that operates there. Each wrong guess unlocks another clue: a second airline, a destination hint, distance and direction from your guess.

How many guesses do I get?

Six. A fresh airline or route clue unlocks after each miss.

US airports only?

No. Two modes go live every day. US mode picks from major American hubs like JFK, ATL, ORD, DFW, LAX. World mode opens it up globally: LHR, CDG, FRA, AMS, DXB, HND, SIN, GRU.

Where does the airline data come from?

Real scheduled airline departures. Every airline and route in the clue panel is actually operated from the mystery airport on the puzzle date.
