How to guess the aircraft
- Read the first operator. Current mode begins with a small-fleet airline; Historic mode starts with a less obvious former operator.
- Use the fleet count. In Current mode, the number in service helps separate niche types from common Airbus and Boeing families.
- Guess a manufacturer and model. Choose a real aircraft such as an Airbus A330 or Boeing 787.

Current fleets and historic aircraft
Current mode uses aircraft operating in passenger fleets today. Its clues pair each airline with the number of that model it flies. Historic mode turns the same deduction format toward retired aircraft such as Concorde, the DC-10, and the L-1011, using notable past operators—including airlines that no longer exist. The modes have separate daily answers and streaks.
