Ministro Pistarini International Airport

Ministro Pistarini International Airport, commonly known as Ezeiza or EZE, is the primary international airport for Buenos Aires and one of the most important airports in South America. EZE handles around 10 million passengers per year and sits about 22 miles southwest of central Buenos Aires. The airport is the primary international gateway for Aerolíneas Argentinas and is served by most major international carriers with routes to Argentina. Buenos Aires' role as a major South American capital and its position at the southern end of the continent makes EZE an important gateway for trans-South American travel and for flights from Argentina to Europe, North America, and Africa. The airport has two terminals (T1 and T4). Buenos Aires' other airport, Jorge Newbery (AEP), is located closer to the city and handles most domestic flights and short-haul international services to neighboring countries. EZE is connected to central Buenos Aires primarily by bus services and the highway system.
