How to play HigherQ Aviation
HigherQ Aviation is an endless higher-or-lower game built on flight data, with three rotating modes: route distance, airport passenger traffic, and aircraft seat count.
- Size up the matchup. Two routes, airports, or aircraft appear side by side; one reveals its stat for the active mode, the other is hidden.
- Guess higher or lower. Decide whether the hidden side is longer, busier, or seats more, depending on the mode.
- Chain your streak. Every correct guess rolls straight into the next matchup, and one wrong answer ends the run.
What is HigherQ Aviation?
HigherQ Aviation is the aviation edition of HigherQ, sitting alongside flight games like SkyQ and Layover. For the broader set, visit the geography games hub.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play HigherQ Aviation?
Two matchups from the world of flying are shown side by side. The first reveals its stat for the active mode; the second is hidden. Guess whether it's higher or lower (longer, busier, or more seats, depending on the mode). Correct guesses chain together. Keep going as long as you can.
What modes can I play?
Three so far. Routes (which flight route is longer), Airports (which airport handles more passengers a year), and Aircraft (which plane typically seats more). Switch with the tabs at the top. Picking a new mode starts a fresh streak.
Where does the data come from?
Route lengths are great-circle distances computed from airport coordinates. Airport traffic uses published annual passenger totals. Aircraft seating uses typical two-class configurations, not certified maximums, so the numbers match the planes you actually board.
How does scoring work?
It's an endless streak. Each correct guess extends your streak by one; a single wrong guess ends the run. Your best streak is saved on your device, and every day sets a fresh target to beat in each mode.
Is HigherQ Aviation free?
Yes. Free to play, no account required.
