Select a city on the map. Drag it back into place.
Misplaced is a daily city map game: five cities are marked on each map, but one is in the wrong place. Find it and drag it back. Everyone gets the same five daily maps, with past puzzles available in the archive.
Each round is worth 100 points: 20 for finding the misplaced city and up to 80 for placing it accurately. Within 5 km earns full placement points. Beyond that, each additional 10 km (or part of it) costs one placement point, down to zero. Five rounds add up to 500 points. Choosing a city that was already correct scores zero. There is no time limit.
A new five-round puzzle arrives at midnight Eastern time. Everyone plays the same maps. Your first completed daily score counts; past daily puzzles do not replace it.
Yes. Today’s and yesterday’s puzzles are free in your browser without an account. This browser remembers your unfinished game. Sign in to keep completed games in your FlightQ history.
Open the archive to choose a past daily. Yesterday is free; Premium unlocks older days. Archived puzzles do not replace today’s score or earn daily XP.
Share sends your score out of 500, five colored result squares and a puzzle link. It does not reveal the city answers. Daily links keep their date, so friends can compare the same puzzle.
Drag the map to pan. The world wraps continuously east and west. Pinch or scroll to zoom. With a city pin focused, use arrow keys to move it and hold Shift for smaller adjustments. The map uses FlightQ’s rendering of Natural Earth coastlines, countries, states, provinces, lakes and rivers, with USGS shoreline detail around Lake St. Clair. Detail appears as you zoom. City coordinates come from FlightQ’s curated city collection.
