One-category and two-category rounds
A one-category round might ask for cities sharing a region or fact. A two-category round demands the overlap, so every answer must satisfy both constraints. The categories appear when the timed round starts, turning the first few seconds into both deduction and recall.
Every correct city resets 30 seconds
You have 30 seconds to enter the next valid city. A correct answer resets the full clock and extends the streak; an invalid answer or a timeout ends the run. That reset rewards calm recall without removing the pressure from the next name.
Valid answers and alternate spellings
The validator checks whether the city belongs to every active category and accepts common names and alternate spellings. A duplicate city ends the round just like a category miss, so keep track of the answers already on screen while you type.
Send the same challenge to a friend
The result is built for head-to-head play: share the category challenge and compare how many valid cities each player names before a miss or timeout. Because the challenge preserves the round's constraints, the scores measure the same recall test rather than unrelated random categories.
