General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport

Logan International Airport is the primary airport for the Boston metropolitan area and one of the most important international gateways in New England. BOS handles around 40 million passengers per year. The airport sits in East Boston on a peninsula jutting into Boston Harbor, about two miles from downtown. Logan's proximity to the city makes it one of the most accessible major airports in the United States. Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and JetBlue Airways all operate significant bases at BOS, with JetBlue being the airport's largest carrier by aircraft movements.
