Airport guessing game
Guess airports from the clues that make them unique: nonstop route maps, airline mixes, IATA codes, hub patterns, distance, direction, and city geography.
By the FlightQ team — we build and play these games daily. Updated June 2026.
FlightQ's airport guessing games are AirportQ, where you identify a hidden airport from its route network map, and AirlineQ, where you name the airport from real airline clues. Both are free daily browser puzzles with US and World modes.
AirportQ is the map version
AirportQ hides the airport name and shows its nonstop route network. The shape of the map, long-haul reach, domestic density, and nearby region become the clue.
AirlineQ is the clue version
AirlineQ asks you to name the mystery airport from real airlines that operate there, then adds distance and compass feedback after wrong guesses.
Real airport data makes it learnable
The best airport guessing games reward pattern recognition: Emirates suggests one set of hubs, Southwest another, and a route fan across island airports tells a different story than a transatlantic gateway.
